I’m always impressed when an artist can not only consistently create amazing paintings, but even their studies are worthy of owning. Laurel Daniel is this kind of artist, and you can see a couple examples of her incredible studies ‘below the fold’.

To watch Laurel progress through the years with her art work has been a joy! I have one of her paintings in my living room and enjoy it everyday. What talent!
I’m always so impressed with Laurel’s work. I subscribe to her blog and am amazed that she is able to consistently turn out the most beautiful landscapes…her brush strokes, colors, values, etc. … very inspiring!
I’ve followed Laurel’s work for awhile now and I never cease to be amazed at how beautiful subtlety can be. The paintings, that is. I’ve never met Laurel. : )
Laurel is an incredible person, painter, and teacher. I’m fortunate enough as a student to get to see many of her studies and larger works in person, as well as demos, and her talent is evident in all. She IS an inspiration.
ERIC,
WOW!!! What a delicious surprise! I am honored to be featured here and I thank you for the great encouragement it brings me!
Thanks so much,
Laurel
Laurel is VERY talented – and I’m not at all prejudiced (I am her aunt-in-law!). I think her painting of lighting in the open air is phenomenal!
Laurel is truely a wonderful artist who puts out glorious work time after time. She is an inspiration to us all!

Gorgeous work. The clouds are breath taking. You really know how to capture the feeling of the day.
Laurel is one of my favorite painters. Nice post.
