The narrow colour palette and voyeuristic angles of Michael Antkowiak’s paintings add to the sense that you are watching someone who doesn’t know they are being watched.  In an age when that is becoming a very real and common concern, these works seem all the more relevant.  Plus, they’re great paintings.
