There is a great deal of warmth, light, and life in Chuck Rawle’s landscapes, and that is likely due in part to his insistence on painting outdoors in the midst of his subject matter. In fact, his insistence is so strong that he sold his house and moved into an RV in order to get more painting time. I love hearing about that kind of dedication to art, on his part and his wife’s!
Thanks, Eric. It’s always nice to be noticed. If you get time, take a look at my new work. I have a show opening at Kneeland Gallery in Ketchum, ID this week. It hangs from Oct 1-Nov 18.
If I had the travel budget to visit Idaho, I would be there! Good luck with the show.
