Yury Darashkevich paints finely rendered women against void backgrounds, and for my money he’s at his best when creating his large-scale close-ups; the empty backgrounds become foregrounds as drips of paint bleed over the edges of hairdos and shoulders, while the women stare back at you with looks that suggest you had better take them seriously. Â Before you head over to his site though, I should warn you that some of his work is NSFW.
absolutely stunning work!

Fantastic work, really vibrant and alive. Love it.
I love your painting more and more. And I still keep it on our walls in Minsk. I’m a growing artist know and I also get some knowledge from your work. I really want to have a conversation if it’s possible. Thank you for being and for your great art!!!)
