My first impression of Jim McKenzie’s work was that I was seeing an artist who had both Alex Colville’s sense of composition, and Ken Danby’s attention to detail. Â My second impression was that Jim McKenzie’s work is quite beautiful in its own right.
I’ve really enjoyed your site. I spent a lot of aimless time hopping from one ‘art’ site to another and maybe enjoy 1 out of 5 artists I come across, but with your blog, I feel like I am introduced to someone I like with every entry. Each time, it’s like another ‘ooooh”. Thanks for what you do.
